Here’s what Edu Manzano said about his son’s solo protest
Veteran actor Edu Manzano reacted to the solo protest that his son Enzo Manzano did in New York.
On June 18, Enzo held his solo protest in front of the UN headquarters and Philippine Consulate in the US. That was his way to express that he opposes the Anti-Terrorism Bill.
Enzo said that since his countrymen could not hold rallies against the controversial bill, he has done it for them. In line with this, his father was asked to react during a recent radio interview.
Edu Manzano admitted that he had no idea that his son will have his solo protest but it did not surprise him that his son did that.
“Pero sisihin ko rin ang sarili ko, because nung bata pa sila at nung lagi kaming magkasama, lagi kong sinasabi, ‘Kung meron kayong gustong sabihin, sabihin ninyo,’” he added as he said that he is liberal to his children.
The veteran actor also expressed that he is very proud of what Enzo has achieved, as well as the accomplishments of his other children.
According to Edu, Enzo is really has political inclinations. “Talagang mahilig siya sa pulitika… yeah, political science and journalism ang anak ko,” he said.
Edu also shared that his son has done videos about the Philippines. “Meron na siyang mga ginagawang videos tungkol sa history ng EDSA revolution, meron pa siyang kay Magsaysay,” the actor said.
He added that his children are well-education but they are responsible also when it comes to the decisions that they make.
Enzo Manzano is the son of Edu Manzano with former model Rissa Samson, based on the article from PEP.
