ANGEL LOCSIN – Four members of the ‘Piston 6’ transport group undergo COVID-19 swab test with the help of Angel Locsin’s ‘Shop & Share‘ project.
ABS-CBN actress Angel Locsin is one of the most loved celebrities in the Philippines. Aside from her great acting skills, people commended her for her generosity and kindness towards her countrymen.
While getting involved in philanthropic efforts, she’s also hosting a new docu-reality show called “Iba Yan!” The show is directed by her soon-to-be-husband Neil Arce. In the recent episode of the show, Angel became the bridge between a father named Tatay Ferdi and his 5 estranged children. She also gave him a new motorcycle with a sidecar.
The ‘Shop & Share’ project is a fundraising initiative of Anne Curtis and Angel Locsin. They decided to revive their program to raise funds for mass testing in the country. The proceeds are going to the Philippine Red Cross.
Recently, the Filipino-Australian host gave an update about their new initiative. She announced on her Instagram account that they have started providing COVID-19 tests to the locally stranded individuals (LSI).
“We’ve officially begun! Because of your overwhelming support we were able to provide 600 Covid-19 test kits for some of our stranded kababayans that reached out to us,” Anne said.
On Wednesday, June 24, News5 AKSYON reported that Angel Locsin’s ‘Shop & Share’ project recently provided swab tests to four members of “Piston 6.” It can be remembered that two of the 6 members of the transport group tested positive for COVID-19.
