90-year-old Couple Reunite after Wife Recovers from COVID-19 Infection

Both a 90-year-old married couple reunite again after the wife recovered from the infection of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Joyce and Don Hoffman are 90 years old and been living together for almost 67 years. But they have been separated after his wife contracted the virus and need to be treated.

Joyce only suffered minor symptoms and been discharged after a month of treatment. Joyce celebrated her “graduation” from the coronavirus unit in the facility of Indianapolis, according to the report of ABC News.

As the usual discharge of COVID-19 patients, medical staff line up to cheer Joyce and surprised Don. Don didn’t know that he would be reunited with his wife again after a month-long they have been apart from each other.

“You look so wonderful … so beautiful,” Don told his wife when they were finally reunited. The two held hands and staff helped lift Joyce so they could embrace. “How can you be so cute?” Joyce replied.

Based on the report, this was the excruciating time for them after the 67 years of being together, said by their granddaughter. The 90-year-old couple has two children and four grandchildren together.
