Megastar Sharon Cuneta and her reactions to blunt statements of her daughter Frankie Pangilinan.
SHARON CUNETA – Veteran actress and singer Sharon Cuneta has this statement regarding criticisms about her daughter and her brave opinions.
Just recently, the 19-year-old Megastar daughter Frankie Pangilinan stole social media’s attention after having this argument with veteran broadcaster Ben Tulfo. This is after the journalist suggested victim-blaming in his statement about women getting harassed because of their indecent clothes.
To which was objected by Frankie stating that revealing clothes is not a permission to “rape” a woman because there is nothing wrong if one dresses sexily. It is where a woman is comfortable at and that’s how she expresses herself. And to normalize harassment when a woman wears something revealing is wrong. This is the Megastar’s daughter stand.

With this, the Megastar Sharon Cuneta herself expressed that what her daughter has done is something that made her proud as a mother. She is proud of her for fighting for something which she thinks is right. She believed that all her children are smart and brilliant enough to know the right things and how to fight for it.
This accordingly runs in the blood certainly coming from her senator father, her mother, and her great grandparents. She furthered that she would surely get sad if Frankie changes. She would also pray for her to find a man who will love her and take care of her.
It would even accordingly be fine to her if she gets married by tomorrow but she doesn’t have a boyfriend yet. She wrote, “At please bigyan mo kami ng madaming apo. Okay na sakin anak kahit mag-asawa ka na bukas. Kaya lang wala ka palang boyfriend ngayon. I am so very proud of you.”
