Poor Old Man Begs Money From Passersby to Feed Grandchild
The heartbreaking photos of a poor old man asking alms along the street so he could buy milk for his grandchild goes viral on social media.
A Facebook user named Cherryvin Rivera Po has shared the heartbreaking pictures of an old man begging money from passersby to feed his grandchild. The post garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the photos, it can be seen that the old man is asking alms along the street while wearing his face mask. Rivera said that the senior citizen is a resident of Baseco, Tondo, and now suffering extreme poverty after their house has been destroyed by fire.

Rivera gave a certain amount of cash towards the grandpa so he could buy milk for his grandchild. The old grandpa even returned the excess cash to the kind netizen and thanked her for her kindness.

“Baka mapadaan po sainyo si tatay. Pakitulungan naman po si tatay, sya po taga baseco tondo . Sila daw po ay nasunugan. At ang kanyang apo ay nangangailangan ng maidede . Hindi.sya namamalimus nanghehenge lang po sya ng pang gatas para sa kanyang apo. Lumamit po sya saamin para manghenge ng gatas binigyan po namin sya ng konting pera.
Umalis si tatay pumunta sa tindahan pero kulang pa pambiling gatas bumalik sya ulit saamin kulang pa yung pera nya nag dagdag kami ng 50 pesos para makabili sya .
