Man, Aged 24, Shot To Death In Village In Bilar Town, Bohol
BILAR TOWN – A man, 24 years of age, was recently shot to death by unknown assailants in a village in Bilar town, Bohol.
According to an article from Bohol Chronicles, Bilar Police Station chief Lieutenant Ramon Rulona said that the victim, identified as Jason Deliman of Barangay Cambigsi in the said town, died on the spot after receiving gunshot wounds in the head and arm.
Deliman was able to run when he was attecked by three unknown men, among them were two armed, outside his residence.
He initially grabbed his niece, 15 years of age, to prevent the gunmen from shooting as he fled.
His niece, however, slipped, causing them to run in separate directions. The suspects eventually caught up with him and shot him.
“Naa ray storya gamay sila then gikugod unya naapsan siya mao to gipusil,”
Based on the report, the assailants fled the scene on foot since the victim’s house was not accessible to vehicles.
“Kina bukiran to, laayo kaayo ang gibaktasan sa police pag responde, lajo. Hapit usang oras lakaw,”
The police has yet to probe further to determine the motive of the crime.
