Tony Labrusca, JC Alcantara To Star In Black Sheep’s First Boys Love Series
TONY LABRUSCA – Actor Tony Labrusca announced that he is set to star in a new Boys Love series with actor JC Alcantara.
American actor Tony Labrusca is one of the most handsome actors in the Philippines. He gained popularity after his heartbreaker stint in McDonald’s tv ads in 2016.
In the same year, the heartthrob joined ABS-CBN’s reality search ‘Pinoy Boyband Superstar.’ He became famous in the country even more after the release of his film with Angel Aquino titled ‘Glorious.’
Last Sunday, June 14, Tony Labrusca announced on his Instagram account that he will be starring in a Boys Love (BL) series. In the caption of the post, he said the series will be produced by ABS-CBN’s film company, Black Sheep. It the company’s first-ever digital series.
“Yeah… I’m just as shocked as you are. Say hello to Black Sheep’s first digital series, coming to you real soon. Keep your eyes peeled for updates in the coming days. Don’t be a stranger!” he wrote.

Boy Love series is currently popular in Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and China. Actress Vivoree Esclito also uploaded the same teaser on her Ig account. It came with a caption, “You better BL-ieve it. Say hello to Black Sheep’s first digital series, coming to you real soon.”
Appearing with Tony Labrusca in the BL series is JC Alcantara. The actor is known for his roles in the movie ‘Kasal’ and tv series ‘Halik.’ Alcantara also uploaded the teaser on his IG account.
Other Boys Love series that are currently streaming online are ‘Sakristan’ (starring Henry Villanueva and Clifford Pusing) and ‘Gameboys’ (Elijah Canlas and Kokoy de Santos).
