Netizens asked what about Mocha Uson if Maria Ressa was found guilty of cyber libel?
MARIA RESSA – On Twitter, netizens express protest over guilty verdict for Maria Ressa but just letting Mocha Uson who spread fake news previously.
In a previous article, sexy-performer-turned-government official Mocha Uson became one of the most controversial personalities. After spreading some false information which sparked confusion to her broad followings. Thus, she was tagged as “fake news peddler”.
And now, for the guilty verdict of CEO Rappler Maria Ressa, netizens have asked that if Ressa got convicted for doing her job, what will happen now to Uson following her controversies. They cited the likes of Koko Pimentel and Metro Manila police chief Major General Debold Sinas who both committed a crime but were let on the loose without being penalized for obviously violating major rules during strict quarantine period.
Among the controversies that Uson got involved were using the wrong photos and among others to which have all sparked social media outrage.
