Bacolod Residents Fail to Observe Social Distancing During 2nd Wave of SAP Distribution

BACOLOD CITY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL – Bacolod residents failed to observe the social distancing measures during the second wave of SAP distribution.

Many Filipino people rely on social amelioration cash aid being given by the government amid the coronavirus pandemic. Most of them lost their livelihoods during the implementation of enhanced community quarantine.

A Facebook user named Joshua Emilia Aguilar has shared the alarming photos of overcrowded New Government Center (NGC) in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. The photos garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the photos, it can be seen that a massive number of residents trooped to NGC to get their Social Amelioration cash assistance being given by the government to the poor families affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the SAP recipients failed to obey the quarantine guidelines and violated the social distancing measures just to receive financial aid.
