Pinay Actress Kim Chiu Denies Dancing ‘Bawal Lumabas’ on EDSA
The Filipina actress Kim Chiu denied the viral video that she is dancing ‘Bawal Lumabas’ on EDSA and revealed the real venue.
Kim Chiu is now making rounds again on social media after her video footage allegedly dancing on EDSA spread like wildfire online. The footage earns various reactions from social media users.
The Kapamilya actress happily danced her viral ‘Bawal Lumabas’ song outside her car along the road. A netizen named Chadric Ebojo, the video uploader is claiming that the footage was taken at EDSA.
MMDA Assistant Secretary Celine Pialago said that they will summon the lady celebrity to get her side regarding the issue. The agency will investigate the video and will verify the report.
On Wednesday (June 3, 2020), the 30-year-old actress denied the accusations that she danced along EDSA. The viral video has been uploaded by her fellow actress Angelica Panganiban.
“And sa nagpapakalat ng fake news na sa EDSA ako sumayaw, Hello?!!! Okay ka lang??? Bakit ako sasayaw sa gitna ng EDSA. Takot ko lang. Diyos ko. Please stop spreading fake news. Please lang,” Kim said.
Kim also clarified that the video was taken at a restaurant and not on EDSA. She also described the circulating posts as fake news.
“Sa EDSA daw ‘yung parking lot ng Tipsy Pig? Kaya pa ba? Ikaw na nag-deliver ng merchandise, ikaw pa pagbinintangan ng fake news. Hay… life… Hindi po biro magbenta ng merch, first time kong ginawa to pero okay lang I know this is for a good cause. Let’s spread love not hate. COVID ang kalaban natin. Hindi ang kapwa tao.” Kim added.
