Glee Star Lea Michele is facing these accusations
Black co-stars of Glee star Lea Michele accused her of discriminating them after she tweeted about #BlackLivesMatter.
Several Hollywood stars have been expressing their support for the black community following the death of George Floyd in the hands of the police. Rallies have been happening in various corners of the United States of America due to that.
Lea Michele, who played the lead role Rachel Berry in Glee, also expressed her thoughts regarding the issue. “George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter,” she said in her Twitter post.
This received a comment from Samantha Ware who played the character of Jane Hayward in the Season 6 of the musical series back in 2015. With her all-caps tweet, Ware had a shocking revelation against the show’s leading lady.
“ILL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD “SH** IN MY WIG!” AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD,” Ware said.
This post against Glee star Lea Michele was supported by other black artists who appeared in the musical series, based on the article from news.com.au.
Alex Newell (Unique Adams) and Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones) had these replies that appeared to be confirming the claim from Ware.
Aside from them, Willam Belli, a popular drag queen and actor, also echoed the same thoughts against Michele.
Based on the article, there has been rumors circulating against Lea Michele stating that she is difficult to work with. It was said that she had conflict with co-star Naya Rivera who played the character of Santana Lopez and Kate Hudson who guest starred on the show. However, they denied the allegations.
