Fire In Mandaluyong City On Monday Night, Arsonist Arrested
MANDALUYONG CITY – Authorities have arrested the suspect who caused a fire in Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City on Monday night after he failed to set himself on fire.
The Bureau of Fire Protection said that the arsonist’s alleged acts is one of the possible causes of fire that occured in the said area, according to ABS-CBN News.
The BFP reported that the man, 34 years of age, tried to set himself on fire but failed terribly and ended up having his house burned until it reached other houses.
As of the moment, fire authorities are currently conducting further investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
Based on the report, property damages caused by fire is valued at about ₱2 million. The fire raised general alarm and affected at around a thousand families.
