Update on United States COVID-19 Cases, Deaths & Recoveries Now

UNITED STATES COVID-19 – Here is an update on the total coronavirus cases, deaths, and recoveries in the United States.

2020 came with a huge challenge for over 200 countries and territories across the globe. COVID-19, a coronavirus, claimed thousands of lives across the globe.

The said disease was reported in China last December 2019. It infected over 82,000 people in China and the authorities locked Wuhan City for more than two (2) months because of it.

More than 4,600 people died of COVID-19 in China. Wuhan is now open and the country is visibly recovering from the outbreak. However, several nations are on a tough battle now against it.

United States is one of the countries with confirmed cases of the disease. It has the most number of cases now.

Based on a global tally of Worldometer, there is now a total of 1,837,170 cases of COVID-19 recorded in the United States. Out of the total number, 106,195 patients died while 599,867 have recovered from the disease.

U.S. is followed by Brazil and Russia in the list. Based on the tally, here are the total COVID-19 cases in the three (3) nations:

  • United States – 1,837,170
  • Brazil – 514,992
  • Russia – 405,843

Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump has called for a national emergency to fight the spread of the disease. A huge budget was allocated for the healthcare system of the country amid the pandemic.

The impact of COVID-19 is far beyond what was expected of it. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), it is going to be a long-term battle against the disease and everyone must not be complacent.
