Couple Allegedly Worked In Drug Trade Arrested In Clarin Town

CLARIN TOWN – A couple in Clarin town, Bohol, who were rumored to be working together in a drug trade were recently arrested.

According to Bohol Chronicle, the couple were nabbed through a buy-bust operation near their residence in Barangay Bacani in the said town on Monday night. They were identified as Alfredo Dico.

The police reported that they found Alfredo as he sold drugs in the village urging the cops to conduct an operation.

The suspect allegedly sold drugs to a poseur-buyer while his wife handed a sachet of shabu, which is worth 500 to the poseur-buyer, which ended up in her arrest.

As per the report, recovered from the suspects were less than a gram of shabu, a loose .45 caliber and .38 caliber pistols. The handgunds were packed with five and three live ammunition.

The couple are now under police custody and will be charged for sale and possession of illegal drugs and illegal possession of firearms.
