PAGASA – Frontal System, SWWF To Affect Parts Of PH This May 26, 2020
PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this May 26, 2020.
The latest weather update from the state bureau says that a frontal system, where two air masses meet, will affect Extreme Northern Luzon, while the southwesterly windflow or SWWF will be affecting the rest of Northern Luzon on this day.
According to a report from GMA News, the frontal system will bring cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms over Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Cagayan Valley Region, Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur .
The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur during severe thunderstorms.
Localized thunderstorms, on the other hand, will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

As per the report, Northern Luzon will face light to moderate coastal waters, while the rest of the country will face slight to moderate coastal waters.
