Fox was known for her roles in Transformers and Jennifer’s Body. She also does modeling stints. Indeed, she is one of those actresses in Hollywood with a huge fandom and she also has many Filipino fans.
On March 23, her name became more even popular on the micro-blogging site as #MeganFoxIsFilipino became a trending topic. Some netizens were asking the reason behind while some claimed “proofs” that she is Filipino.
Rapper Ruby Ibarra claimed in her tweet that the actress founded the Anakbayan Hollywood. Anakbayan is a youth group established in 1998 that has certain political views.
The Twitter post of the rapper was retweeted by Anakbayan-USA saying, “We’re growing! Maraming salamat to Kasama Megan for helping us expand our international movement here in the US. Mabuhay to our newest chapter!“
However, several netizens expressed doubt about this claim from Ibarra. One netizen showed that Fox posted on her Twitter account the hashtag “Oust Duterte (raised fist and Philippine flag emojis)”.
However, based on the Twitter account of Megan Fox, her last post was back in 2013. The netizen who claimed that the actresses tweeted against the Philippine President reasoned out that she might have deleted it.
