After the transaction, the two suspect felt suspicious with their client as they think that they were operatives. As a result, suspects left their car and drove to the pickup which served as their getaway vehicle.

The suspects then fired at the cops which made cops return the gunshot. A police mobile was hit but fortunately, police were not hit. According to police, the suspects were high-value drug pushers.

A gun and a submachine gun were recovered from them and also found 12 kilograms of suspected shabu. The drugs are still in Chinese tea bag packaging, similar to the drugs that have also been involved in drug operations in recent months.

Police are now investigating what drug group the suspects belong to and whether the suspects are connected to other drug operations in Metro Manila.
