Pastor Claiming To Cure COVID-19 Succumbs To The Same Virus

PASTOR CLAIMING TO CURE COVID-19 – In an expected twist of events, a pastor who claimed to heal COVID-19 through faith had died of COVID-19.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, there have been thousands of individuals trying to profit off the fears of the masses. These can range from overselling essential needs, or worse, selling fake cures.

According to an article from HuffPost, a pastor and former presidential candidate in Cameroon reportedly died of coronavirus. The man was known as “Frank-line Ndifor”.

Reports stated that Ndifor died on Saturday at the age of 39. Furthermore, authorities had to use force to enter Ndifor’s residence because his followers tried to block the police.

They believed the pastor was a miraculous prophet. As such, they tried to block authorities and prayed for his revival.

As per the report, one of the followers stated that the pastor was laying hands on COVID-19 positive patients and claimed he could cure them. Moreover, the follower added:

If you, the person that claims that you are curing COVID-19, you are dead, what about the fellow people that were affected by the COVID-19? Now that he is dead, I do not know how the people that he was laying hands on will be healed.

Based on a report from the BBC, Ndifor’s family and followers planned on contesting the “death” of the body. for his resurrection.

As such, police had to use teargas to disperse the crowd and used force to remove the corpse for a quick burial.
