Although bashing rained over Kim for what she said, she turned the negative thing into something positive. With the help of a composer and music arranger, the Chinita Princess was able to create a new song. For that, she received praise for her positive outlook beyond what could be a down moment in her life.

Her statement is quite popular with her fellow celebrities who have used what she said. Even Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque mentioned this in one of his press briefings.

However, he incorporated some twists by using the line of Diamond Star Maricel Soriano in her movie, Kaya Kong Abutin Ang Langit that was released in 1984.

After Kim’s statement, Ate Gay, used the line of Maricel, “Ayoko ng masikip, ayoko ng walang tubig, ayoko ng mabaho, ayoko ng walang pagkain, ayoko ng putik!”
