Following that, amid the pandemic, Arnell worked as part of the COVID 19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) that also received cash aid from DOLE.

Arnell shared in a recent radio interview, based on PEP’s report, that he went to DOLE’s office because he returned the P5,000 cash aid. He shared that his personnel applied for cash aid with complete documents and waited for the money to come.

He did not know that his name was included in the list and probably wasn’t aware of that because his personnel used his real name “Arnaldo Ignacio”. With that, he shared a photo of the receipt proving that he returned the cash aid.

Kasi, ang dami mong sasagutin, e,” he said.

He added that the fact that he is vocal about his views on certain issues and on defending the administration and this simple act may be used against him.
