Over the past few days, Tropical Storm Ambo continue to affect the weather condition in the country. PAGASA has already placed several areas under tropical cyclone wind signal no. 2 and 1.
A Facebook user named Edcarl Dorcas has shared the videos and photos of water receding in Laguna de Bay during the devastation of Tropical Storm Ambo. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the water recedes and becomes shallow. The residents were shocked and worried that the incident might be an indication of another calamity. The people consider the incident as an unusual event.
The water usually recedes before an approaching tsunami hits the area. Massive fall of water level indicates that a big wave is on its way. However, the case in Laguna de Bay is quite different.
