Onscreen Sisters Toni Gonzaga & Angel Locsin Reunite
TONI GONZAGA – Onscreen sister Toni Gonzaga and Angel Locsin reunited after nearly eight (8) years.
Kapamilya actresses Toni Gonzaga and Angel Locsin starred in the 2013 hit comedy-drama film titled ‘Four Sisters and A Wedding.’ Actresses Bea Alonzo and Shaina Magdayao also played as their sister.
In just 4 days, Star Cinema’s 20th-anniversary presentation movie earned P60 million. It is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. Last February, Star Cinema announced that ‘Four Sisters and A Wedding’ will have a prequel. This time, it will be directed by Giselle Andress and the sisters will be played by Belle Mariano, Charlie Dizon, Alexa Ilacad, and Gillian Vicencio.
Recently, the onscreen sisters Angel Locsin and Toni Gonzaga reunited through the Ultimate Multimedia Star’s new show “I Feel You.” On Thursday, May 15, Star Cinema uploaded the video of their virtual reunion on their Youtube Channel. The two talked about their film. Locsin aired her thoughts about the success of their movie.
“‘Pag gumagawa kasi tayo ng pelikula, hindi mo maiisip na, ‘Ay, malaki impact nito sa mga tao.’ Gusto mo lang pagandahin ‘yung trabaho mo, hindi ka mapagalitan ni direk, sana kumita. Iyon lang ‘yung na sa isip mo sa mga panahon na ‘yun, eh…”
“Magugulat ka na lang na hanggang ngayon, na sa Netflix siya, nag-te-trending pa rin siya,” she added.
Toni Gonzaga and Angel Locsin recalled some of their memorable moments in the movie. Gonzaga also praised Locsin’s relief efforts and said she has always been very generous towards other people.
“Noon pa lang… noon pa man din talagang laging nasa isip mo kahit nasa trabaho ka tumulog sa iba, yun naman ang totoong pagpapakita mo ng unconditional love,” said Gonzaga.
