More than P19 Million of Suspected Shabu Seized From 8 Suspects in Caloocan

CALOOCAN CITY – Over P19 million worth of suspected shabu was seized during a buy-bust operation in Deparo, Caloocan on Wednesday night.

Eight people were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Caloocan City on Wednesday night in which more than P19 million worth of shabu was recovered. The arrested include alias “Gigi,” and “Jokjok,” all on the police watchlist, according to a report released by the Northern Police District.

The eight was identified as Arthur Salguero, 49, 31-year-old Rose Cruz, Herchill Resco, Jhon Dale Estorninos, William Tante, 39 years old, 24-year-old Joshua De Andres, Albert Delema, 27, and 57-year-old Ricky Nelson Cruz.

Based on the report, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) conducted the operation was launched against the suspects after the arrest of a Gary Villanueva on May 11. The buy-bust operation takes place in Blk. 6 Lot 49 Gilmar Subdivision, Barangay 168, Zone 15, District 1.

When the suspects were arrested, packages of the suspected shabu, worth P19,040,000, and drug paraphernalia were seized. The suspects will be facing charges for violation of Section 5 Sale of Dangerous Drugs, Section 11 Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Section 13 (Pot session) Section 12 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Section 26 Conspiracy of Republic Act No. 9165.
