Anti-Duterte Lady in Cebu offers P75M for Killing Duterte Got Arrested
CEBU CITY – An Anti-Duterte lady from Cordova, Cebu got arrested after posting P75M reward for those who can kill the President Duterte.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) has arrested Ma. Catherine Bentolan Ceron, 26, said Wednesday morning. Ceron on Tuesday said she was upset with President that made her post the offer in his Facebook account.
According to the post, for those who are interested in the P75 million reward could come to their house. After the post has gone viral on social media, authorities immediately conducted a manhunt operation that leads to the arrest of Ceron.
When questioned, Ceron denied that he had posted the offer and insisted that his Facebook account was hacked. The suspect was in CIDG-7 custody while preparing a case in violation of Article 142 of the Revised Penal Code or Inciting to Sedition.
Previously, a construction worker in Aklan was also arrested for offering the P100 million double from the reward offered by the public school teacher in Zambales for those who can kill President Rodrigo Duterte.
Ronald Quiboyen, construction worker and Ronnel Mas, public school teacher, were both arrested for threatening Duterte and offering a reward, which they didn’t have on hand, in exchange for Duterte’s life.
