Barangay Captain’s Whole Clan Listed on SAP Offical List, Elicits Reactions Online
LAPU-LAPU CITY – A controversial Social Amelioration Program list where the barangay captain’s whole clan was included on the official list.
In a Facebook post of Philippines Best, they exposed the anomalous activity in the Social Amelioration Program of DSWD where resident whose livelihoods are affected with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis gets cash assistance.
The netizen exposed the “Berdin” clan, which can be seen on the official list of SAP beneficiaries of barangay Babag, Lapu-lapu City. They call out the attention of the barangay captain named Arsenio Ronnie Berdin to explain this weird event.
Meanwhile, the Facebook post earned elicited comments from the online community as netizens slammed the corrupt captain and suggested to report it immediately for investigation. The photos have gone viral on social media.

Previously, President Rodrigo Duterte offers P30k reward cash to certain individuals who will report corrupt officials taking advantage of government aids as he express anger to the arrested barangay official in Bulacan.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, lots of qualified beneficiaries returned the cash aid they have received as some of them are already a member of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), while some has a family member that already received the aid from another barangay.
