Fire In Miag-ao Town, Iloilo Left With 10 Houses Razed

MIAG-AO TOWN – A fire which occurred at Barangay Baybay Norte, Miag-ao town, Iloilo, has left with ten houses razed and one partially damaged.

According to Panay News, the houses that was raised were owned by Reynaldo Siason, Mary Jane Palmos, Wilforo Dalisay, Rosie Morit, Joebert Sapan, Ronnie Severino, Pepe Severino Jr., Roman Tetisa, Pepe Severino Sr., and Queen Marie Sason. The aforementioned partially damaged house belonged to Lourdes Palmos.

Fire Inspector Ronnie Malijan of the local fire station, the fire occurred in the house of Severino Sr., which quickly scattered to nearby houses.

The cause of the fire, as well as the estimated value of the properties damaged has yet to be determined, as of this writing.

“We found it hard to penetrate the fire scene. The road was very narrow,”

As per the report, the local firefighters received help from the fire stations of nearby towns. Fortunately no one was killed or injured during the fire.
