Mentally-ill Son Killed his Own Mother Due to Allegedly High of Drugs
CEBU CITY – A mother died after she was severely killed by his own son who is mentally-ill and allegedly because he was high with illegal drugs.
In a report of Radyo Bandera North Negros, the 25-year-old suspect killed his 50-year-old mother after he severely cut the neck. The incident takes place at Ybañez compound, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City.
Based on the report, the suspect had a mental illness, but based on the original uploader on Facebook the suspect was using drugs and allegedly high at the time he made the murder.
The suspect even tried to flee but was arrested yesterday afternoon. In the photo posted on Facebook, he was caught by residents and tied him.
While on the video also posted, he was seen doing unpleasant actions and seems out of his mind. But due to Facebook community guidelines, the video was immediately deleted.
As of now, he is now under the custody of Philippine National Police (PNP) Cebu City. Police are still investigating the incident.
