Inigo Pascual Joins 88rising In Fundraiser Livestream
INIGO PASCUAL – One of the Philippines most talented and upcoming artist Inigo Pascual joins 88rising in its #AsiaRisingForever fundraiser livestream event.
88rising has been instrumental in the development of some of the most popular Asian artists in the US such as Rich Brian, Higher Bros, NIKI, and Joji. Since its inception, it has always aimed to elevate Asian music to the next level.
As such, the record label wanted to streamline Asian music and culture into the western music scene.
Now, even with the pandemic, 88rising called on the biggest names in music in Asia for a fundraising event called Asia Rising Forever. And, among its invited artists was the Philippines’ own Inigo Pascual.
Inigo did a reggae rendition of Post Malone’s “Better Now”. His soulful voice perfectly fit the Malone’s song re-envisioned into reggae. Here is the video:
88rising is honored to partner with Asian Americans Advancing Justice – AAJC in their mission to advance the civil and human rights of Asian Americans and to build and promote a fair and equitable society for all. ASIA RISING FOREVER is an opportunity for the world to come together around a common message of positivity during this unprecedented crisis.
Filipino fans shared how proud they were of Inigo on social media. This would be the first time that a new artist from the country was invited to an event from 88rising.
