Woman Evicted from Rented was Threaten to Take Her Baby by Brgy. Officials

CALOOCAN CITY – the poor woman who was evicted from rented home by landlady expose that barangay officials threatens her to take her baby.

According to the report of GMA News, Jodelyn Parco, the woman on the viral video begging in tears to barangay authorities after she was forced to leave the rented house due to unpaid rent claims that someone is trying to take her baby.

She said that on the orders of a barangay executive officer due to unpaid rent, someone was trying to get her baby. Parco said authorities told her that she was unfit to take off her child financially as they decided to take the baby.

Parco said that she went to the barangay to file complaint over the incident. It also found out that the house being rented by Parco was owned by the mother of a barangay executive officer.

“Maayos ‘yung pakikiusap ko sa kanila… Ni wala nga kong pera kasi wala ngang trabaho, anong gagawin ko?” she said. “Uma-umaga… araw-araw naninigil. Sabi ko, pakiusap lang. Wala pa akong pera. ‘Yung makukuha ko sa DSWD sa kaniya na,” she told GMA News.

Parco returned to her rented home but it was locked, forcing her to find another house at another barangay. Parco decided to file a complaint and press charges against her landlady over the incident.

Previously, video footage of Jodelyn Parco has gone viral on social media and earned various reactions as she was seen begging in tears while clutching her infant child to barangay officials after she was forced to leaved to her rented house due to unpaid rent.
