That’s Entertainment Love Teams Reunite To Perform ‘Nothing Is Gonna Stop Us Now’
THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT – The love teams of ’80s variety show “That’s Entertainment” reunite for “Nothings Gonna Stop Us” cover.
Filipino youth-oriented talent and variety show “That’s Entertainment” was broadcast by the Kapuso network. It was hosted by Ike Lozada and German Moreno. It aired from 1986 to 1996. Moreno died of cardiac arrest in January 2016.
The cast of the show was separated into 5 groups; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. All of them performed together for their Saturday broadcast.
Recently, love teams of That’s Entertainment reunited virtually to treat the netizens amid the 2019 novel coronavirus pandemic. They did a cover of Starship’s “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.”
Singer-actor Janno Gibbs uploaded the video on Thursday, April 30 on his Instagram account. The video showed individual recordings from Sheryl Cruz, Monching Gutierrez, Manilyn Reynes, Romnick Sarmenta, Tina Paner, and Keempee de Leon. All of them gained prominence through the variety show.

“This quarantine has given us all a chance to re-connect w old friends. So I invited some of mine for this and they all came through! Here’s to all of us who get by with a little help from our friends,” he wrote.
Janno Gibb’s former love team partner Manilyn Reynes also posted the video on her Facebook Page. The video has garnered 53 thousand reactions, 39,286 shares, and 721 thousand views as of this writing.
