Based on a report from GMA News, the woman named Catherine Bulatao gave birth in her home but she needed treatment due to complications. Her midwife Mary Joy Francisco advised her to go to a hospital to remove her placenta.

The new mom went to Dalagan-Ciudadano Midwife Clinic first, but she was told to see a specialist first.
