Talisay City “Fight Song” Video Crosses Online Platform
TALISAY CITY “FIGHT SONG” – A video of traffic enforcers in the city dancing to the tune of “Fight Song” circulated on social media.
Currently, the Philippines is fighting a pandemic that has already taken over 190,000 lives worldwide – the coronavirus or COVID-19. This disease has infected over 2.5 million people across the globe.
In the Philippines, there is now a total of 7,192 cases of coronavirus confirmed in the country. Out of this total, 477 patients died while 762 have recovered from the disease.
To curb the spread of the disease, the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) is implemented now in the entire Luzon and in provinces in Visayas and Mindanao. Everyone is encouraged to stay at home.
Amid the fight against the spread of COVID-19, there are frontliners risking their lives. They include the doctors, nurses, all the hospital staff, the traffic officials, the military, the police, the employees in grocery stores, the pharmacy staff, and all those who are out to serve the people and implement the measures.
These frontliners are not only risking their lives. They are also on for some inspiring acts even if it would require them to dance.
On Facebook, a Talisay City “Fight Song” video made rounds on social media. The traffic enforcers danced to the song. Here is the video posted on the Facebook page Talisay Online:
