Nueva Ecija Town Mayor Emeng Pascual Slams Quarantine Violators
Nueva Ecija town Mayor Emeng Pascual lambasted the violators of the enhanced community quarantine saying “Hindi na bibigyan ng tulong”.
Over the past few weeks, the Philippine government is strictly implementing the enhanced community quarantine restricting the movements of the residents to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus disease.
Different local government units are already doing their best to impose the lockdown protocols and to help the poor families affected by the quarantine orders.
Recently, the Facebook page “Mayor Emeng Pascual – Serbisyo Publiko” has shared the video footage of several residents who were caught violating the quarantine order in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija.
In the video, it can be seen that Mayor Pascual is expressing his disappointment towards the quarantine violators who were caught in drinking sessions and gambling. He also lectured the residents.
The city official also threatened the residents involved in gambling and drinking sessions that they will not receive help from the government if they will be caught again.
