Previously, the delivery guy of Pizza Hut, Raymond Papellero, went viral on social media for buying bulks of bread to give it away to homeless people that he encounters during delivery trips.

His generosity amid the public health crisis has gone viral on social media. Fortunately, ‘Pizza Hut’ awarded him a cheque amounting to P10,000.00 in recognition for his good deeds.

But his good fortune and fame did not stop there because his story also reached the Araneta Group of Companies (AGC) – and they decided to reward him with Php100,000 for his exemplary act of kindness.

“Mr. Papellero’s generosity is very much in line with the Araneta Group’s commitment to give back to the community, and this cash award is a sincere appreciation of his benevolence”, said Chacha Junio, chief operating officer of Philippine Pizza, Inc.

He vowed to continue buying and handing out bread to people in need that he encounters on the streets. “For as long as I’m able to, I will keep on doing this every day”, Papellero said.

“I hope what I’m doing will inspire other people to also share their blessings with the poor, especially during these difficult times. For as long as I’m able to, I will keep on doing this every day,” Raymond added.
