Cavite LGU Use ‘Circle of Life’ as Social Distancing Measures

Bacoor, Cavite – Local government of Cavite uses ‘Circle of Life’ as the implementation of social distancing measures for market-goers.

The local government of Bacoor, Cavite has found a way to implement social distancing on the market-goes and to identify who are the stubborn violators rambling amid the enhanced community quarantine.

In a report of GMA News, LGU draws white circles on roads near major markets called “Circle of Life.” Not only markets you can also see these circles at grocery stores, money remittance centers, pharmacies, and banks.

There is also a 1-meter distance away from the person to person to ensure that market-goers observed proper social distancing, government measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“Ito ay tinawag nating ‘Circle of Life’ na sila (mga tao) na ang kusang tumutungtong sa mga bilog at ‘pag mayroon nang lumabas doon sa palengke at tsaka uusad ‘yong mga nakatayo sa bilog so naging organized na,” said Police Lieutenant Colonel Vicente Cabatinga ng Bacoor Philippine National Police.

Before the ‘Circle of Life’ was implemented market-goers are crammed and has the messy queue lines at Zapote Market. But now, the consumers flow is broad and orderly.

According to Cabatinga, this is also the way for the police to easily identify who are have the important purpose and those who are just hanging out with important matter outside.

“‘Pag nakita naming ‘di siya nakatayo doon sa bilog, alam namin na siya ay magwi-withdraw o magpapadala. Unlike before na halos lahat ng madaanan namin is binababaan namin,” said Cabatinga.
