The price increase, as mentioned, was reported last week April 13, 2020. This was the first increase after a series of rollbacks.

The last week’s price of gasoline increased by ₱0.55 per liter, and ₱0.15 more per liter. Only the price of kerosene dropped at about ₱0.20 less per liter.

  • Kerosene – ₱0.60 per liter

Petro Gazz and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc. also announced that they will implement the same changes except for kerosene, which they do not carry.

As per the report, the rollback will take effect on about 6 AM Tuesday. Caltex will implement the change earlier on 12:01 AM on the same day.

The latest data from the Department of Energy (DOE) states that year-to-date adjustments now stand at a net decrease of about the following:

  • Gasoline – ₱15.07 per liter
  • Diesel – ₱14.09 per liter
  • Kerosene – ₱18.95 per liter
