Kind Police Helps Poor Elderly Man Asking for Money Instead of Arresting
KIND POLICE – A poor elderly man begging for money inside the market amid COVID-19 threat and enhanced community quarantine received help from police.
Recently, a concerned netizen named Danny Cumilang shared a photo showing a policeman holding a poor elderly man. At first glance at the photo, you might think that the police arrested the old man for some violation.
But according to the post, instead of arresting, he allegedly gave the elder some money, because the elderly man was begging for money in market. SPO3 Bonifacio Corpus did not hesitate to give money to the old beggar.
He did so to bring the old beggar to go home immediately and it was too dangerous for him to approach people and he could be infected with COVID-19. The picture also shows that the he assisted the old beggar to make sure he can get home safely.
Meanwhile, many netizens were amazed and admired the kind police for helping the old beggar instead of arresting it. The police earn praise online for act of generosity.
