Tito Sotto “Patama” About Donations Made Posted On Social Media

Senate President Tito Sotto has this intriguing comment over posted donations.

TITO SOTTO – Famous politician and Senate President Tito Sotto statement about those people who donate and post it on social media.

“If you want to feed the Homeless, then feed the Homeless. But the moment you post it on Social Media, you are just feeding your EGO!” – This is a line made famous by John Wooden, an American basketball player.

And Tito Sotto made an amended version of this. On Twitter, the senate president wrote, “My John Wooden amended version – if you want to feed the hungry, then feed the hungry. But the moment you post it on social media, you are only feeding your ego!”

And here are some of the comments from the post:

Nicky Sr: Sir, we would appreciate it if you would just hit it straight. Dont go around the bush. Dont make statement that open to interpretation. Mas gusto ng tao yung prangka, puti kung puti, itim kung itim. Walang grey.

Zap Dela Pena: Why not post it so that everyone will be inspired to do the same lalo at nakangiti ang Pinakain

Malou Gordon Canete: Or maybe they just want to inspire others to do the same. Just like what you do in EatBulaga… Different ways but the same intentions.

This statement he made amid the height of pandemic COVID-19 in the country where people who are in need were flooded with help coming from the government and private individuals such as businessmen, showbiz personalities, ordinary people, and medical personnel.

He did not mention any name but we can see all over our social media feed the donations made by a lot of many people. Meanwhile, some people believe that posting it is not all about bragging but to inspire more people to do the same in this difficult time.
