HMD Plans To Launch New Nokia Phones In Q3 2020
NEW NOKIA PHONES – The old King is set to compete with the top Smartphones this coming Q3 2020 if things go well with the pandemic.
A lot of phone launches were delayed due to coronavirus affecting millions worldwide. As such, big names like Apple had delayed production of their new flagship models to December or beyond.
Meanwhile, according to an article from Nokia Power User, HMD was planning a major launch event in mid to late Q3 2020. There, two phones are set to take the spotlight – the Nokia 7.3 and Nokia 9.3.
The Nokia 7.3 would be their mid-range entry and the upgrade to its predecessor – Nokia 7.2. Furthermore, the Nokia 9.3 would be their flagship entry in the smartphone market.
However, the launch date is still tentative due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Although, as per the report, HMD was set to proceed with testing 7.3 and 9.3 prototypes and were progressing nicely.
Moreover, the Nokia 9.3 PureView, had been long due to succeed the Nokia 9 PureView. Powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor, Nokia’s flagship phone packs quite a punch.
However, major concerns for the phone would be its camera. Previously, the Nokia 9 Pureview had several complaints regarding the quality of its camera. Users have experienced long rendering times of images that could take up to 30 seconds or more.
But, with the new upgrades, hopefully Nokia fixed this issue with the new powerhouse under its hood. Other issues were also present in the 9 View such as average battery life and a not-so-great fingerprint sensor.
