Bo Sanchez’ Holy Week Message Amid COVID-19 Crisis
HOLY WEEK – Catholic lay preacher and minister Bo Sanchez shared his Holy Week message amid the coronavirus crisis.
Since the outbreak of the 2019 novel coronavirus, everything we see in the news is all doom and gloom. The virus from Wuhan, China has crippled the economy and could cause thousands of death.
The COVID-19 pandemic seems to the only topic in the news today. But we don’t need to hear all the unpleasant reports, we also need to focus on the positive and not let anxiety gets us.
Catholic lay preacher and minister Bo Sanchez was recently interviewed in ‘Magandang Buhay.’ He encouraged the public to try his “100 Blessings Challenge” this Holy Week so that we can have a positive mindset in life.
The entrepreneur shared that he always advised that to all the people who’s hearts filled with fear and anger amid the coronavirus crisis. Bo said they only have to get a piece of paper and pen then write the 100 blessings they received – big or small.
“Maski ‘yung maliliit na blessings, [tulad ng] nakakakita ako, nakakarinig ako, nakakagalaw ako, nakakalakad ako. Isulat mo ‘yan. One hundred blessings. Magpasalamat ka… kung umabot ka sa 33, o 62, okay lang ‘yan. Pero subukan mong mag-100,” he said.
Bo Sanchez shared that his “100 Blessing Challenge” really helps all the people who are close to him. He said, “I guarantee it. Kasi lahat ng tao na gumawa nun bumalik sa akin, [sabi] ‘Bro. Bo, nagbago pananaw ko, nagpapasalamat na ako. Masaya na po ako,'”
“We forget na blessed na blessed po tayo, and gratitude is so powerful… Hindi puwedeng sumama sa isipan mo ang galit at pasasalamat, o takot at pasasalamat. Ang pasasalamat po ay napakamakapangyarihan,” he added.
Magandang Buhay hosts Karla Estrada, Melai Cantiveros, and Jolina Magdangal said they will also take on Bo’s challenge.
