Netizen Goes Viral after Mistakenly Asked P5k Cash Aid to Fruit Company

A netizen has gone viral on social media after he mistakenly asked for 5k cash assistance to the fruit producer Dole PH instead of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

The Dole Food Company on Wednesday, posted in their Facebook page that they granted the request of a netizen named CJ Banasihan. Banasihan recently mistakenly demand for P5k cash aid to them, which should be given by the Department of Labor and Employment.

But instead of giving P5k cash assistance, Dole PH gave the Facebook user “more than P5,000 worth of products,” the global fruit products company said in a Facebook post. 

“He may not have gotten the money yet from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), but he received more than 5,000 pesos’ worth of our products for brightening up everyone’s day with his viral post,” written on the post.

Meanwhile, Banasihan posted photos of the packages he received from the fruit company and express his gratitude for their generosity despite the gaffe. Netizens lauded the deed, with some saying that they should start their own Dole-related post in hopes of receiving a similar treat.
