Number Of Coronavirus Cases In Calabarzon Rises To 403 Says DOH

CALABARZON COVID-19 CASES RISES – According to reports from the Department of Health, the number of coronavirus cases in Calabarzon climbed to 403.

This number reflects those infected in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon provinces. Additionally, the region had also reported 55 deaths. Meanwhile, 15 have been reported to have recovered from the deadly disease.

According to a report from Inquirer, Rizal province confirmed 148 cases as of April 8. The infections were traced back to the following areas: Antipolo City, Angono, Baras, Binangonan, Cainta, Cadona, Jalajala, Morong, Rodriguez, San Mateo, Tanay, Taytay, and Teresa.

Furthermore, 25 people have died within the province. Meanwhile, in Laguna, 95 individuals have been infected with the virus. Of that number nine have died.

As per the report, the cities and areas with confirmed Coronavirus cases are the following:

  • Alaminos
  • Bay
  • Binan City
  • Cabuyao City
  • Calamba City
  • Calauan
  • Liliw
  • Los Banos
  • Lumban
  • Majayjay
  • Nagcarlan
  • Paete
  • Pagsanja
  • Pila
  • San Pablo City
  • San Pedro City
  • Santa Cruz
  • Sta. Rosa City
  • Victoria

Additionally, Cavite had 83 confirmed cases of COVID-19 along with 15 deaths. The cases were traced back to Alfonso, Bacoor City, Carmona, Cavite City, Dasmarinas City, General Trias, Gen Mariano Alvarez, Imus City, Indang, Maraondon, Mendez, Naic, Noveleta, Rosario, Silang, Tanza, and the capital Trece Marites City.

Batangas also had 68 cases, most of which came from the capital Batangas City. Of this number, eight have succumbed to the virus.
