BASILAN TOWN VICE MAYOR – Former Tipo-Tipo Vice Mayor Mussidik Mande was shot by still unidentified suspects in Isabela.

Several unfortunate incidents are taking place at the different parts of the country everyday. Sadly, amid a global pandemic, the COVID-19 which also hit the Philippines, these incidents have not stopped.

These incidents include unexpected attacks that left people injured, or worst, dead. Families are then left crying for justice.

Recently, in Basilan, another family is left seeking for justice over what happened to their loved one. An unexpected incident involving Tipo-Tipo’s former vice mayor, Mussidik Mande, took place.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the former Basilan town vice mayor was shot by still unidentified suspects in Isabela. The initial investigation showed that he was supposedly off for home when the incident took place.

The motive was lodged in Barangay Sumagdang. The victim obtained a lot of wounds which led to his death.

According to the report, the police authorities are still investigating the incident. They are looking into the identities of the suspects and the motives behind what happened.

Isabela, Basilan is now under a general community quarantine due to COVID-19. The incident took place amid the general pursuit to fight a pandemic.
