A kind elderly lady takes products from her own sari-sari store and gave them as relief goods to the poor residents.

Over the past few weeks, the local government units are already taking actions to help the Filipino people affected by the enhanced community quarantine due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus disease.

LGUs, local officials, and high profile personalities are already distributing relief goods to help our less-fortunate countrymen. However, some of our countrymen were not able to receive any food supplies from the government.

Recently, the Facebook page “Bitter Ocampo” has shared the inspiring photo of a kind elderly woman giving relief goods to her less-fortunate neighbors. The old woman garnered praises from the online community.

In the photo, it can be seen that the old lady repacked the rice together with some canned goods from her sari-sari store and give them to the poor residents in their area. The kind woman proved that faith in humanity is restored.
