Frankie and Her Parents Will Pay the P315k Bail of 21 QC Protesters
Frankie Pangilinan and her parents Sharon and Kiko will voluntarily pay the bail of the 21 protesters in Quezon City who were arrested.
Previously, residents of Quezon City were arrested for running from authorities and setting up barricades. Residents are calling out the attention of QC government that they needed help and food.
According to the report, incident prompted after one member of the Kadamay allegedly spread false information about the government that will hand out food relief. Resident went raging that led authorities to forcibly break-up the barricade and arrest the residents.
Meanwhile, Frankie Pangilinan offered to uphold the bail of one of the 21 QC residents who were arrested after protesting recently over insufficient assistance provided to them despite the quarantine community. Her parents, Senator Kiko Pangilinan and Sharon Cuneta, will answer the bail of 20 others.
Based on the report of Radyo Todo, Bayan Muna secretary-general Renato Reyes Jr. informed the protesters, filed a lawsuit in violation of the enhanced quarantine community and each of them has to pay P15,000 bail.

“Wala na nga silang makain, pagbabayarin pa ng P15,000 each. Walang awa sa mahihirap,” Reyes wrote.
Frankie responded immediately to Reyes’ tweet saying. “I’ll sponsor one. Please give the details.” She also added that her parents also wanted to cover the 20 others, “And my parents would like to cover the other twenty.”
Reyes thanked Frankie, “thanks Kakie. Will DM the details as soon as lawyers provide them. Thanks!” In total, the bail of 21 protesters reached P315,000.
