Villar Family Gives “Itlog at Saba” Merienda w/ Their Names In Bold Letters

VILLAR FAMILY – Family of Manny, Cynthia, and Camille Villar lambasted after people received their “itlog at saba” merienda amid COVID crisis.

With the effects of enhanced community quarantine due to Coronavirus Disease 2019, many were greatly affected and workers who depends on their daily or weekly wages were forced to stop working. This is to contain the spread of the malevolent virus which was first discovered in Wuhan.

And as help to poor people and poor families, the government and numerous private sectors and individual came hand in hand to help them. The have provided basic necessities and even financial aid for the people to survive the month-long Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.

Angel Locsin, Bela Padilla, Kim Chiu, Alex Gonzaga, and many other celebrities extended their help in their own way. Senator Manny Pacquiao also did so much such as donating 5 buses to give the health workers free rides. And just recently, the Villar family, also gave out something.

In a post, one of the wealthiest families in the Philippines gave out “itlog and saba” as merienda to people and on the plastic was their names printed in big and bold letters. Any form of help is a help, however, this have offended many people. Considering that they are among the wealthiest and if they really wanted to help, they could have done better according to other people. Also, their names in bold letters were offensive to a lot, thus, it was criticized.
