Disinfection of public places, Anti-Panic Buying and Hoarding Ordinance implemented, relied goods operation, market on the wheels, and provision of quarantine facilities are just among the works of Mayor Vico as he served his people. He is among the most commended leaders.

And now, in his city, they just released financial assistance to their tricycle drivers worth Php 4,000.00 each which was initially just Php 3,000.00. This is their one way to help those people who are most affected by the enhanced home quarantine where they were forced to stop from working as the virus is highly contagious and deadly.

“Kusa nang ipinagkaloob ng city government sa mga drivers dahil alam nila, hindi pa natin alam kung hanggang kailan tatagal talaga ito, e,” an official from Pasig City hall has said as per PEP. Tricycle drivers are among the informal workers affected by the Luzon-wide enhanced quarantine as public transportation has been banned since then. And even the colorum drivers were given relief packs.

The first 2,000 drivers who received the cash assistance is just the first on their list as they will also do the same for jeepney and UV Express drivers before this week ends. Healthworkers will receive as well the cash assistance.
