Baras, Rizal Mayor Kathrine Robles Say She Tested Positive For Coronavirus
CORONAVIRUS – Another Rizal Province mayor announced she also tested positive for 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The deadly virus from Wuhan City, China has killed hundreds of thousands of people. Governments have taken drastic measures to halt the spread of the 2019 novel coronavirus.
Celebrities, priests, and politicians are not exempt from catching coronavirus. In a previous article, the vice mayor of Jalajala municipality Jolet delos Santos died on Tuesday due to the virus. His son shared a heartbreaking message on Facebook.
Another mayor in Rizal was diagnosed with the disease. Baras mayor Kathrine Robles took to Facebook to reveal that she contracted the virus. She goes on self-quarantine and said she’s in a “stable” condition.
The mayor asked the people she has interaction with since March 18 to immediately inform the Municipal Health Office for “contract tracing.” She assured the people in their community that they will continue the relief operations.
In her Facebook post, Kathrine Robles also asked the people in the municipality to follow the “enhanced community quarantine” guidelines.
