JUST IN: Cebu City Confirms 16 Coronavirus Cases

Department of Health Central Visayas confirms 16 COVID-19 cases in Cebu City.

CEBU CITY – The Department of Health Central Visayas has confirmed that there are now 16 COVID-19 cases in Cebu City and 22 in entire Central Visayas.

The gradual increase of confirmed Coronavirus Disease 2019 patients in the Philippines has surely created great fear to many people and affected many lives. It has now exceeded 800 and is expected to go up in the coming days but the government and respective local government units in the country are currently doing their best battling against an unseen enemy.

And now, in Cebu City, the cases has jumped to 16 and for the entire Central Visayas, the number has already reached 22 in the region. Cebu is currently under Enhanced Community Quarantine amid COVID-19 pandemic which will last until April 28, 2020 unless otherwise lifted.

As of this posting, the confirmed cases in the country has already exceeded 800 with additional as well in terms of fatalities and recoveries.
