A friend, by definition, means a person whom one knows and with whom one has a mutual bond with. So, basically someone who you are usually hang out with and supports you.
They are basically your family in the outside world and there are many types: Best friends, close friends, and even seemingly acts like one.. you know, fake friends.
And then there are fine-weather friends. What does this term mean?
According to the Oxford Dictionary, it refers to a person who stops being a friend in times of difficulty.

- A person who is dependable in good times but is not in times of trouble.
Basically, they are your friends on your best times, but not in your difficult times.
